Drop-In Sewing Days

Sometimes you need to get out of the house in order to make time to sew. Come join me for a full day or half day of sewing. Make use of the cutting table, sergers, sewing machines and gadgets. Spend time with other sewers and spend a day building your sewing skills. Get some help cutting that special piece of fabric, or finish that project without interruption. BYO Lunch. Coffee and tea provided. Only $25!

Weekend Sewing “retreats”

This is not an event for people with NO sewing experience. Email me if you are unsure about qualifying.

Venue: Sew Biz Studio - Altadore, SW Calgary
Friday 6 - 9 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Cost is $100 - refundable up to 72 hours before event , payment due at time of registration.
Lunch included on Saturday.
Bring your own sewing machine (machines can be made available if you don't own one)
2 sergers and 2 irons and pressing tools available for use.
Large cutting table in studio.
Bring your own sewing supplies (scissors, pins, measuring tape, seam gauge and seam ripper, chalk marker)
Come with your own independent project (pattern, fabric and notions needed to complete that project) and I will be available for instruction, questions and tips to improve your sewing.
Note: This is not an event for brand new beginners. You must know how to independently operate your sewing machine and have a couple of sewing projects completed. Email strandbergjean@gmail.com if you are unsure if this is an event for you.
