Whether you're a beginner sewer, haven't sewn in years, or you want to improve your sewing skills, Sew Biz has a sewing class for you in Calgary.

You learn to sew what interests you, not what everyone else is learning. Bring your own fabric, patterns and thread and begin a life long skill.

  • Take your sewing skills to the next level

  • Learn to sew knits or specialty fabrics

  • beginner basics - how use a sewing machine, basics of reading a pattern, make simple garments, hemming and easy repairs.

  • personal garments or children's clothing

  • home decor or quilting

  • how to use, understand and fit sewing patterns

  • individual projects

Is your serger still in the box?  Are you intimidated by changing all those thread spools and dials? Book a private serger lesson for $40, and in 1.5 hours,  learn how:
•    to thread your serger, 
•    troubleshoot for tension problems, 
•    use differential feed
•    sew with 2, 3, or 4 threads
•    and leave with fabric samples for future  reference.
